This painting measures 60 x 48 with a 2.25 inch Silver Leafed edge. I begin with graphite drawing on the wood surface, adding multiple layers of oil paint, washes, glazes, and metal-leaf.  Each of my paintings has about 30 layers.

"Trout on Silver" features an underwater scene of Trout near a submerged log.  The Trout in this piece have small flecks of Copper and Gold.
