Low-country Landscape

This painting measures12 x 48 inches and is painted on wood panel.  I began this landscape with a graphite drawing adding layers of oil paint, washes, glazes, and metal-leaf.  All of my paintings have about 20-30 layers of paint.  Each is also gilded on the edges, so no framing is necessary.
