Refund policy

Original Art:

Joseph Bradley Studio does not offer refunds on paintings or commissions. Purchasers agree that color variations due to screen distortion, lighting, and photography may occur.  No refunds or exchanges will be made due to these perceived color differences.  If damage occurs during shipping to original art, the artist insures each piece with the shipper. In the event damage has occurred during shipment, the artist will either repair the damage or provide an acceptable painting to the customer. An acceptable painting means one of the same size that the artist and purchaser have agreed upon.  Additional time may be required to repair or complete a new painting. Damage to artwork during shipment must be reported to Joseph Bradley Studio within 7 days of receipt of said artwork. Any claims against the shipper will be made by the artist and any resulting payouts and/or compensation will go directly to the artist for the repair of the damaged piece or compensation for creating a new piece. No insurance payouts will ever be made to the purchaser of artwork.

Commissions:

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin work on all custom work. The remaining 50% balance is due after the commission has been approved by the purchaser. In the event approval is not granted from the purchaser, the 50% deposit will not be refunded; however, the remaining 50% balance will not be required, and the customer will forfeit all rights to the artwork. The artwork will become full property of the artist and will be left to his discretion to sell, destroy, or store. The commissioner agrees that any and all rights of concepts, ideas, and reference photos giving way to the production of said artwork will be granted to the artist for promotion and resale or forfeited artwork without expectation of compensation to the original commissioner.

Reproductions and Partial Reproductions:

Joseph Bradley Studio does not offer refunds or exchanges on the sale of reproductions or partial reproductions. All sales are final unless an exception is made a at the discretion of the artist. A cancellation for a reproduction can be made in the first 24 hours after the sale. No cancellations will be allowed after that time.

Joseph Bradley is not responsible for mishandling, damage, or failed delivery for the shipment of any reproductions or partial reproductions by any carrier the artist chooses. If the purchaser would like additional insurance on their reproduction, they can contact Joseph Bradley Studio at info@josephbradleystudio.com for a quote. Any defective qualities in the production of the artwork should be made aware to Joseph Bradley Studio within 7 days of receipt of the work. If there is a problem with the production of the artwork, only an exchange will be made.

Reproductions can vary slightly in color and the purchaser agrees that slight differences are acceptable. On partial reproductions, even greater variation occurs and the purchaser agrees that each piece is unique. No repairs will be made on exposed metal-leaf since it is made to reveal the red color beneath. The amount of exposed red beneath metal-leaf varies greatly between partial reproductions.
